BOX
AUDIOVISUAL INSTALLATION — 2025
BOX is a composition about forgetting. About archiving and our relationship to the tools and technology we use to capture and retain our experiences. The composition moves through a sequence of five scenes, each reflections on forgetting and the concept of negative space. Voice memos and smartphone footage make up the base materials for the composition. While the framework of the composition is planned, each showing of the work is unique in how the audiovisual network renders the pixels and sound live.

THINGS OF BORROWED SCRAPS AND PATCHES
INSTALLATION — 2019
THINGS OF BORROWED SCRAPS AND PATCHES is an 8.0 (eight-channel) speaker-array composition. The composition invites the audience into the space which the speaker-array occupies and invites them to move (or stay put) however they wish and choose. The composition is 20 minutes long, existing out of 3 sound-phases which are highlighted through the use of simple and subtle light-cues.

TENDER (then punch me)
AUDIO INSTALLATION — 2022
TENDER (then punch me) is a collaborative art project with Ragnheiður Erla Björnsdóttir (ERLA). Merging sound, visual art and poetry into musical compositions.
The installation is made up out of a 10-channel speaker array installation and a light installation. The composition is divided into three parts: morning, midday and evening and plays for a total of 9 hours of electro-acoustic music and fragmented poetic vocal recordings.
Music and abstract poetry are used to ‘give a voice’ to these intangible emotions, strangeness and soreness. Especially because such feelings are impossible to put into plain words.
